Burrangong Ridge
In 1860 adventurers from around the world rushed to the Burrangong Goldfields near Young to make their fortune. Some did and moved on, but many fell in love with the region and stayed to build homes and establish orchards and vineyards where the excellent climate and deep fertile soils yielded other riches - magnificent fruit and wine.
