Grove Estate
"Brian and Suellen Mullany and their partners purchased the Grove Estate Vineyard in 1989 with the aim of producing premium cool climate wine grapes, on its volcanic red soils situated at 550m above sea level. The Grove Estate property already had a long history of involvement with the wine and grape growing industry in the Hilltops Region as vines were originally planted on the property back in 1886. Around the same time in 1870 Brian's Great Great Grandfather had just arrived from Switzerland and began planting Vines in The Yarra Valley for Charles Joseph Latrobe."
